Create Wood Cookies with Ease
Using your portable sawmill, safely and efficiently clamp and saw wood cookies from 5” to 20” in diameter at the base for creating decorative items, small tabletops, and more. Using the CookieMizer is just as easy as using your sawmill!
Blade Safety Indicator
To avoid any damage of the sawmill blade or the CookieMizer, a movable blade safety indicator ensures the blade does not encounter any part of the CookieMizer. Before engaging the blade, simply lower the blade to touch the top of the safety indicator.
Unique Clamping System for Irregular Logs
For logs that are not perfectly round, the sliding clamp includes additional rotation in order to best secure irregular shaped logs. An optional spacer kit (Part #123449) is available for raising the fixed clamp if needed while sawing logs that are tapered or require a better grip higher on the log. In addition, the fixed clamp is able to be moved toward the center of the CookieMizer using pre-set holes if a tapered log is not able to clear the blade guide roller on the sawmill.
Two V-Shaped Log Clamps
One sliding and one fixed log clamp secure logs up to 20” in diameter at the base and allow for final cuts within 1-1/2” of the clamps. The sliding clamp can move in and out and is controlled by simply turning a lead screw clockwise or counterclockwise on either side of the CookieMizer with a ½” wrench or drill. Both log clamps are V-shaped and include sharp teeth to secure logs for sawing without damaging them.
Compatible with Most Portable Sawmills
Several mounting options are available depending on your sawmill make and model. The Wood-Mizer Mounts will fit on the indicated Wood-Mizer sawmill models. The Other Mount option includes 4 “L” brackets and is designed for most non-Wood-Mizer models of sawmills with bed rails that are 26” or less apart. The mount for Wood-Mizer LT15, LT28, LT30, LT40, LT50, LT70, and LX450 sawmills may also be compatible with non-Wood-Mizer sawmills that feature 2” wide bed bunks.
